Valentines Day 2008

Did you know that the candy heart manufacturer put out new sayings this year?  I created this one at the Acme Heart Maker.  It is just a fun little site where you can create your own sayings.....But.....did you really know that the Necco Candy Company actually does make new sayings every year.  This year's new sayings are:

Here are some little know facts about the little candy hearts we have come to  love that were provided by The National Confectioners Assosiation .

At one time, conversation candies were made into many shapes including horseshoes, baseballs and watches

About 8 billion hearts will be produced this year; that’s enough candy to stretch from Rome, Italy to Valentine, Ariz. and back again 20 times

The peak selling season for conversation hearts last only six weeks, but confectioners produce the candy for nearly eleven months of the year

At least 10 new conversation heart sayings are introduced each year.

Each year the television game show JEOPARDY! includes questions about conversation hearts on its Valentine's Day show.
