Racine Harbor and Lakefront

 

Racine had it's annual In Water Boat Show this weekend.  The harbor was full of boats of all kinds.  It's fun to see the big boats and all the new models....But me....I love my little ski boat!  I want to be close to the water, drag my hand through it and feel the spray in my face.  I have suntanned with smile marks in my face because I am Claudia of the  perpetual smile when on the water!  This is a picture leaving the harbor.

It was a little overcast today but warm and dry.  We went out for a couple of hours, then drove up the river and stopped for a sandwich at Sandpipers.

It has been a busy month...a new baby in the family, my daughter moving away, getting ready for the art show at Charlene's Gallery Ten in Door County.  I signed all my pieces for the show tonight.  It was nice to take the afternoon off and to take a couple of deep breaths out on the lake!  I have to photograph all the work sometime this week before taking it up for the show.  Then I can finally share a few more pictures of it all with you.  I know I have been slow to get more art up but it's coming...I Promise!
